LOS ANGELES Officials say a second airport employee is in custody for an alleged role in setting off dry ice bombs at Los Angeles International Airport.

Los Angeles police Cmdr. Andrew Smith says a supervisor for the aviation ground services company Servisair was taken into custody by police Friday night

Smith says he can't identify the employee until the person has been booked.

Twenty-eight-year-old Dicarlo Bennett already has been charged with two counts of possessing a destructive device in a public place.

A law enforcement official briefed on the investigation who was not authorized to speak publically says Bennett was riding in a van with several people, including a supervisor, when he decided to make the dry ice bombs in plastic bottles Sunday night.

One exploded in an employee bathroom and another on the airport's tarmac. A third bottle that didn't detonate was found later.
